Visutron 900+

The compact refractor VISUTRON 900+ follows a simple principle: One knob is enough. It offers the user maximal ease, speed, and economics. The quick and silent change of glasses helps the patient to make his decision.

Switchboard

To control the phoropter and the projector or chart monitor, the switchbord is an easy tool to use. The exchange of test glasses is initiated by a small turn of the patented multifunction knob. Additionally visual acuity and test types can be  controlled.

Prism compensator

Two versions are available: with and without prism compensator. The prism compensator rests in the housing when not needed.

Reading screen

Optionally a reading screen can be mounted to the phoropter. When pulled down the refractor head turns automatically convergent and switches to the binocular mode.

Data links to peripheral devices

To make the VISUTRON 900+ a good investment for the future, software updates can easily be installed through a CompactFlash Card port. These updates may improve the control of the phoropter or the transmission of patients' data to peripheral instruments or office computers. This transmission is alternatively via

  • The chip card system DATRANS
